Nailed at 9 is the name of a line up of shows on DIY Network. This clip is pretty funny, it’s from the show Yard Crashers. I always wondered if everyone was just ready and willing to let a camera crew follow them home!

Personally, I would happily let him come to my house and do some yard work!

What is it like in your part of the world? Over here we are still having cold, winter weather… including snow! Needless to say not too much is happening in the garden. We are excited though because the other day the UPS man brought us our Neuton mower! We can’t wait to get it charged up and try it out in our yard. No more gas or oil for us, just clean battery powered goodness!

I will let you know what we think when we finally have a chance to try it out! The weather forecast is promising sun this weekend, so let’s hope they are right!

When I saw this post on Apartment Therapy I litterally said wow out loud! This my friends is one fancy shower!

Likely to be something you would never see in my home, but something that would be worth seeing in person! Can you imagine being fancy enough to shower like that?? It’s beautiful, over the top, and totally ostentatious. But wow! (Can you imagine keeping it clean?)

AeroGarden Seed Starter

I have wanted an AeroGarden for what seems like forever now… and this just makes me want one even more. They now offer a seed starter kit for, well, starting seeds inside! I tried to start some seeds last year, but it was hard to find a great place to keep them while they grew. This sure would solve the problem!

I have often thought about a “Murphy bed” as a great way to save space. I saw a really neat version that would be perfect for a guest room/office. But then I saw this on Apartment Therapy Unplugged, and was amazed! Look at this bed that comes down from the ceiling!

It’s called a BedUp. It sure is a fun idea. Would you put one in your house?

Moroccan Tiles

As spring keeps teasing us, thoughts turn to the great outdoors. I have a fabulous patio set that is who knows how old (a hand me down from my Grandma). It needs an update, including a top. The top was glass, which broke before I ever owned the set. It also need new fabric for the seats.

Anyway, I love these Moroccan tiles, and think they could make a fun table top. It wouldn’t work for the set I have since my table is round, but I really like the colors!
