Shower woes.
Wednesday, February 6th, 2008My question to you, dear readers, is what kind of tile would you use if you were to redo a shower? We are open to suggestions! So, as our shower surround continues to pull away from the walls, we have to become realistic and put our grand shower dreams on hold. Budget wise we just aren’t prepared for such a big renovation, especially one that was essentially unplanned (we did want to do the bathroom eventually, but not this year, this year was a deck).
Our two budget friendly options are reusing the surrounds and gluing them back up again, or remove the surrounds and tile around the tub. They are both a lot cheaper than our fun, multi-shower head, new floor and vanity plumbing extravaganza plan. We just don’t really know what tile would look good, and wear well, in the shower area. We have some ideas, but would love to hear from you!
